Areas Psychological Assessment:
Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD): an evaluation for ADHD consists of two sessions of clinical interview to fully discuss current and past concerns, rule out other causes of these issues, and talk about treatment options. Sometimes paper/pencil testing is administered. This evaluation can take place in my office or by phone or video for anyone in Washington State.
Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASF): an evaluation for ASD consists of two sessions of clinical interview to fully discuss current and past concerns, rule out other causes of these issues, and talk about treatment options. This evaluation can take place in my office or by phone or video for anyone in Washington State.
Learning Disorders: an evaluation for learning disorders consists of three sessions. The initial meeting is an in-depth clinical interview that included a discussion of current and past concerns. The second meeting is for face-to-face testing and this takes about two hours. The third session is for feedback of testing results and to discuss treatment options.
Disability Determination and Documentation: the ADA recognizes mental health disorders including ADHD, anxiety, and learning disorders. Assessments for anxiety and ADHD can take place in the office, by phone, or by video conferencing. An assessment of learning disorders requires face-to-face testing and must take place in the office. I also provide documentation and make recommendations on appropriate accommodations, including letters for those seeking an emotional support animal.
